Since the release of the song, many other mucians recorded a cover version of it. Although during the end of 1940s, traditional jazz was no longer popular, Louis Armstrong and his band recorded the song in full New Orleans spirit. The special thing about traditional jazz (New Orleans jazz) is having different horns fighting over each other with their own sound, while maintaining the steady rythym and the central melody - the beauty of collage in layers.
